Lynn Wolfstone is the principal of Wolfstone Landscape Design in Portland, Oregon. She takes design inspiration from living in the Pacific Northwest – a part of the world known for its spectacular natural beauty and regional commitment to sustainable practices. Lynn upholds these values, saying, “the garden is ultimately a reflection of the homeowner’s tastes and aspirations. I cater to individual needs, and provide council to help clients reach their goals. I try to be an advocate for responsible stewardship, one beautiful garden at a time.” She incorporates suitable plant life for the Northwest climate, avoids harsh chemicals and considers water, sunlight and organic nutrient demands in every design.

Lynn has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon and a degree in Landscape Design from Portland Community College. In addition to owning her own business, Lynn served as President of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, Oregon Chapter (2011-2012) and is a member of the Association of Northwest Landscape Designers, the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon and the Japanese Garden Society of Oregon. She has two grown children and lives in southwest Portland with her husband and a yellow Labrador Retriever.
