Lush Landscaping
The problem
A large tree dominated this front lawn, which was completely overgrown. The side yard was full of invasive ivy, and the entry needed some additional color and form. A new separate garage was added to the home and circulation around the structure was needed.
Our approach
We replaced the intrusive plants with evergreens, flowering shrubs, and bulbs. The front beds were livened up with colorful flowering evergreens, and natural stone. Plants ranging in size helped tie in the mature Douglas Fir. Varying plant heights, colors and textures also helped to add interest to the entrance. A decorative craftsman style entry gate added an attractive access point to the backyard.
